Eligibility

The contest is open to individuals only. Group or agency entries are not allowed. Participants can be students, freelancers, working professionals, or non-coders with interest in WordPress. 

Age Limit

Age limit is between 16 to 30 Years.

Technology Guidelines

Only WordPress is allowed. Use of any other CMS or platform will lead to disqualification. Use of paid themes, premium plugins, or copyrighted materials is strictly prohibited. Only free resources are permitted.

Registration & Fees

The registration fee is ₹1000 + 18% GST and is non-refundable under any circumstances. Registration will be confirmed only after successful payment.

Website Submission

Final websites must be hosted on a live server (no localhost or offline versions accepted). Once submitted, no changes should be made to the website. Any modification post-submission will lead to disqualification.

Judging Criteria

Entries will be judged based on design & UI/UX, functionality, creativity, speed & performance, SEO friendliness, responsiveness, branding, security, content quality, and scalability.

Prizes & Recognition

The 1st prize winner will receive a cash prize ranging from ₹50,000 to ₹1.5 Lakhs, depending on the number of participants and sponsorships. All participants will receive a verifiable certificate of participation. Top performers may receive internship or job offers, subject to openings in Sofodel or partner companies.

Disqualification Terms

Hiring freelancers/agencies for website development is strictly prohibited. Participants may be asked to verify their work in the final round through interviews or live presentations.

Ownership & Rights

Sofodel reserves the right to use, showcase, or commercially utilize submitted websites/code. All intellectual property rights of submitted websites remain with Sofodel post-submission.

Timeline Changes

Sofodel holds the right to modify contest dates including registration, submission, and result announcements depending on circumstances.
